How To Make Concrete in Minecraft

This Minecraft tutorial explains How To Make Concrete in Minecraft with detailed screenshots and step-by-step instructed process.

In this guide I will walk you through step by step how to quickly create hardened concrete in minecraft. Concrete is a very strong material and does not catch fire. Through concrete you can create magnificent structures, such as castles, royal palaces, luxury villas, bridges and much more. Furthermore, by carefully combining different colors you have the possibility to give voice to your imagination, modeling unique creations that everyone will envy you! It is so simple that it will be easy for you to create it even in survival mode. All you need is some colored powder, a workbench, four blocks of sand and four blocks of gravel. And that’s it! Seeing is believing. But let’s see in detail how it’s done!

Required Materials To Create a Concrete in Minecraft:

MATERIAL N° BLOCKS
Work Station X 1
Sand X 4
Gravel X 4
Dye X 1

Step 1: Choose Your Dye

Making concrete in Minecraft is really a breeze! First decide which color to use. You can choose from: red the color of passion, ideal for walls full of energy; orange & yellow, colors that adapt to any environment and highlight the depth of the surfaces; green & lime, that recall trees and nature, suitable for containment blocks that are not too noticeable, to be covered perhaps with vines; cyan, light blue, blue and purple, the colors of the sky and the sea, but also of mystery, of depth, perfect for adventurous spirits; magenta & pink, less conventional colors, for futuristic or simply special designs; brown, black, gray, light gray or white, basic colors that are in fashion and always like. You can’t go wrong with them!

If you are in survival mode I can give you some suggestions to get the white dye you need to make lots of very elegant structures. The method is really a breeze and will be super easy for any player to do. First kill skeleton-like in Bone Meal and convert the bones found through the crafting window. Then if you are lucky enough to be in the Flower Forest biome, you can also use Lily of the Valley. Once you have obtained one of these two ingredients, just follow the instructions below to make the cement powder and you will immediately have a lot of white cement with which to build masterpieces. If, on the other hand, you need black concrete, for example to make modern-style walls or ceilings, just go to the sea or a river. Now look for some squid, kill them and you will receive an ink pouch. And that’s it! Remember that with black and white dyes you can also get gray; Just mix them and use the ink obtained for your concrete blocks.

If, on the other hand, you need a green concrete and you are in survival mode, just find the right materials that when mixed will provide you with a beautiful green dye like a beautiful lawn. The materials you need to get the green dye are really ridiculous – just mix a block of cactus with any type of fuel. Charcoal or a block of charcoal can be very suitable for this purpose, but also blocks of wood, etc. By smelting these materials you will manage to get a beautiful green dye! And if you want to dare and you have a very strong creative vein and you are looking for the lime dye, but you find yourself in survival mode also in this case the process is really simple: go to the sea and look for a sea pickle, then do the same procedure that I have described for you for the green by combining sea pickles with any type of fuel. And here you have a lime dye with which you can make lime-colored concrete blocks that will make heads turn! Seeing is believing!

Step 2: Use the crafting table

If you are in survival mode, build a crafting table right away. Having a workbench is essential, not just to get the concrete but to create any other tool or material. So what are you waiting for? Do it, it’s super easy. Now I’ll show you how to do it: open the inventory grid in the game and place an oak block, a dark oak block, an acacia block and a birch block in each square. And here you will immediately have a very useful workbench with which to create crazy things to show to your friends and that you will really need to survive in the world of Minecraft.

Now place a simple workbench on the ground. Now interact with the workbench and place one of the dyes you have decided to use, 4 blocks of sand and 4 blocks of gravel. Then take the concrete powder and drag it into your inventory. The best thing you can do is first prepare a list of how many blocks you need, for example by drawing up a small floor plan, so you can be sure you don’t have to repeat the operation several times!

Step 3: Hardening

To harden the concrete powder, simply place it on the ground and pour a bucket of water on it or immediately next to it. And as if by magic … here is our rock hard concrete! Now you are able to create all the structures you want through the latter. With this trick you can have lots of blocks with which to build even large buildings. Remember that it is a very resistant material and you can also use it in the basement, to hide treasures or to create neat secret passages. It also requires little effort and very few materials that you can find everywhere. I highly recommend you to use it, you will not regret it!

Further useful and important notes:  When using concrete that has been hardened, remember that it behaves like any other solid block and will not fall off if placed with nothing underneath.
